Stainless Steel
The Forbes & Lomax Stainless Steel range has brushed stainless steel plates with satin nickel switches and buttons. It is well suited to contemporary kitchens.
The finish evokes an understated feel suited to a wide range of interiors from industrial - clean, crisp, contemporary aesthetics.
Antique Bronze
The Forbes & Lomax Antique Bronze complements both traditional and modern designs and works particularly well in interiors with wood panelling or stone work.
The finish is timeless and classic. Dark and rich in colour with subtle chocolatey/copper hues coming through in the light.
Sockets are supplied with black inserts as standard to complement the dark finish of the plate.
The Invisible
Lightswitch®
Inspired by the glass switches of the 1930s but with all the advantages of modern technology, the Invisible Lightswitch® has become synonymous with Forbes & Lomax.
Switches and dimmers have 3mm bevelled transparent acrylic plates. The plates sit flush to the wall and are supplied with brass, nickel silver, stainless steel or antique bronze toggle switches, dimmer knobs or buttons.
Each acrylic plate has a 0.5mm underplate which can be either painted or used as a template where wallpaper is used.
Brushed Brass
The Forbes & Lomax Brushed Brass has fine vertical brush marks creating a matte effect for a subtle finish, which adds a unique and contemporary twist to the Forbes & Lomax range. These plates are lacquered for a wear resistant finish.
Toggles, dimmer knobs and push buttons are available as well as sockets giving a streamlined, classic feel to the design. Socket inserts are supplied with black or white inserts to complement the accents/ feel of the interior.
Nickel Silver
Nickel Silver first became popular in the 19th century due to its similarity to Sterling Silver and was commonly used for various decorative items around the home.
It has a luxurious appearance which is warmer than chrome, making it suitable for either traditional or modern living areas.
